Dear Dojocho, welcome to the Shin Kaze online search form for existing Shin Kaze members who are already in the database and you wish to review and/or update their record by adding important information to the database. You may wish to update their record for any number of reasons including they have returned and you want to reactivate them on your dojo roster. Or maybe you entered them into the database with minimal information and now you need to update their record so that when they are eligible to be promoted this information needs to be available as a prerequisite to their promotion.


In order to update this record you will need the Record ID # plus the First and Last Name of the individual precisely as they appear on your roster that we have provided to ensure you are updating the data of the correct member of your dojo. So go to the Dojo Roster spreadsheet sent to you that includes all of your dojo members and identify the fields that you will want to copy and paste into this form. Without the correct ID number plus First and Last Name precisely as on the roster, you will not be able to update this record, so please copy and paste into the fields provided.

  1. As dojo-cho, you fill and then submit this form to view the existing data that is in the database.
  2. After submitting the form, the information it contains is validated and if any issues are found, you are prompted to correct them.
  3. Once all the information has been validated, it will send the data available to a post that is not editable but that shows the data that is on file for that member.
  4. The process is repeated for all students to be viewed that you may wish to update prior to a promotion or maybe just a returning member who you wish to change their status.
  5. The detailed view of the member’s data is sent only to the Dojcho’s email we have in the database regardless of who the requester is, so please make sure that whoever you empower to make a request will only be available to the dojocho.


In order to see the returned data, a confirmation email will be sent to you once you submit the form below that will include a link to see what data is in the database for that member. If updates are required please copy and paste the data, update the fields as required and send to the SK Customer Service email or use the “Leave a Reply” box below the detail view post. All conversations are moderated and a reply to your request will be posted along with your comments:

Once the changes to the record for that member are reviewed, the database will be updated and a confirmation email of those changes will be returned to you for your records.
